Lawrence Academy 2026 Showcase Standouts Skill Analysis

At the Lawrence Academy Evaluation Showcase, CJ Lopes (Class of 2027) was a premier standout who instantly commanded the attention of college coaches and I during the initial eye test. He is a well-put-together athlete, boasting good size on a lean frame with heavily defined shoulders, arms, and legs that look completely college-ready. Once the active evaluation segments began, Lopes proved his athleticism matches his physical stature. He showcased good footwork and an ability to change direction fluidly during drills. What truly separated Lopes, however, was his alpha mentality; he voluntarily stepped up to go first in every single drill, displaying the precise on-field leadership and competitive drive that recruiters covet. His combination of physical tools, movement mechanics, and intangible traits makes him a high-priority 2027 prospect to track closely this fall. CJ earned a offer from Army on May 13, 2026 prior to the event.

Malcolm Mason (Class of 2027) immediately captured the attention of college coaches and I during the initial eye test. He is a very well-put-together athlete, bringing impressive 6-foot-plus length and good overall size to his lean, highly athletic frame. During the live evaluation, Mason put on a technical clinic. He proved to be a solid, fluid athlete boasting very good route-running mechanics. His defining trait, however, was his elite natural pass-catching ability; he meticulously tracks the football and looks every single pass directly into his hands. Furthermore, Mason showcased immense competitive drive and alpha leadership by voluntarily stepping up to be the first prospect in line for all wide receiver drills. His blend of prototype length, reliable hands, and undeniable leadership marks him as a high-priority 2027 recruit.

At the Lawrence Academy Evaluation Showcase, Isaiah Green (Class of 2027) immediately captured the attention of college coaches and I during the initial eye test. He possesses a highly desirable, 6-foot-plus athletic and lean frame that features excellent natural length, projecting beautifully to the collegiate level.Once the active evaluation period began, Green’s elite athletic traits translated seamlessly to the field. He is a remarkably solid, twitchy athlete who displayed high-level pure speed and sudden quickness during positional work. What truly jumped out to scouts on hand was his explosive second-gear burst and a pair of very reliable, soft hands during passing segments. Green’s combination of prototype length, explosive vertical twitch, and natural pass-catching ability firmly positions him as a high-priority 2027 prospect whose stock is trending directly upward.

At the Lawrence Academy Evaluation Showcase, underclassman Dillon Dulong (Class of 2028) immediately caught the attention of college coaches and I during the initial eye test. Showcasing a highly athletic, well-built frame with notably good, large shoulders. Once the active evaluation began, Dulong proved to be a highly twitchy and shifty playmaker. He displayed excellent pure speed and sudden quickness, changing directions with exceptionally smooth, fluid mechanics. His offensive versatility truly shined during the 1v1 portion of the showcase, where he demonstrated highly reliable, solid hands and refined route-running ability out of the backfield. Dulong’s combination of impressive physical stature, explosive movement, and advanced pass-catching skills firmly cements him as a dynamic, high-priority 2028 prospect whose recruiting stock is bound to rise

At the Lawrence Academy Evaluation Showcase, JJ Montique (Class of 2029) emerged as a notable underclassman who immediately captured my attention during the initial eye test. Looking the part of a future collegiate contributor, he possesses a solid athletic foundation that stands out among his peers. Once the active evaluation period began, Montique’s technical refinement took center stage. He demonstrated exceptionally good footwork and highly disciplined technique while navigating the agility and positional drills. Montique moves with a rare, natural fluidity for a freshman, changing directions effortlessly without wasting motion. Furthermore, he showcased impressive pure speed and sudden quickness, proving he can accelerate and operate at a high competitive tempo. Montique’s blend of smooth movement mechanics, baseline burst, and advanced drill technique firmly establishes him as a high-upside young prospect to monitor closely over the coming years.–
