New England Top Performer of the 2025 Season – Week 5
🈠**Top Performer of the Week Report: Isaiah Tripp, East Hartford High School** ðŸˆ

What an exciting week it’s been for high school football in New England! We are delighted to highlight our Top Performer of Week 5: Isaiah Tripp, a promising talent from East Hartford High School in Connecticut. This exceptional 2026 prospect has energized the field with a display that has not only thrilled fans but is also sure to draw the interest of college programs throughout the region!
Standing at 5’9″ and weighing in at 150 pounds, Isaiah may not have the imposing size of traditional WRs, but what he lacks in stature, he more than makes up for with sheer dynamism and speed. A track athlete with blazing speed, he has recorded an impressive 100-meter dash time of 10.92 seconds, demonstrating his ability to outrun defenders and create explosive plays on the field.
In a jaw-dropping game on October 4, Isaiah showcased his extraordinary skill set, catching five passes for a staggering 200 yards and four touchdowns! Not only did he achieve this remarkable feat, but he also made history by becoming the first East Hartford Hornet receiver to earn four TD receptions in a single game since Jaquon Allen in 2018. His performance has undoubtedly established him as one of the area’s most exciting offensive threats.
Isaiah’s early season statistics paint a picture of a versatile athlete. Over four games, he has racked up an astounding 573 all-purpose yards, highlighting his ability to contribute in various roles—not only as a receiver (294 yards, 7 receiving TDs) but also as a rusher (88 yards) and a kick returner (2 TDs, with 1 called back). His athleticism truly shines as he shows a willingness to block on the perimeter, adding another layer to his game.
Coaches will appreciate his refined skill set: his speed pops on film review, he possesses a great get-off, and his hands are remarkably soft, allowing him to pluck the ball out of the air with ease. Isaiah also has an innate ability to separate from defenders, thanks to that extra gear in his speed. Dynamic doesn’t even begin to cover it!
Flying under the radar until now, Isaiah Tripp is set to be a game-changer for the East Hartford Hornets and is likely to be included in the upcoming PRZ New England Ranking for the class of 2026. Keep an eye on this kid—he’s just getting started!

Future is bright for this young man. It should be noted that he is a student at C.I.B.A (Connecticut International Baccalaureate world school) which is in East Hartford but not East Hartford High. He plays for East Hartford High’s football team. Totally different curriculum. Very rigorous. I applaud his ability to make excellence in the classroom look easy, keeping A’s for grades while being an extra ordinary phenom on the track and football fields.
