Scouting New England: Player Update Report
In this report, I will feature several players who have contacted Scouting New England through the Scouting New England Player Update Form Process to inform us about their recent recruiting activities and player profile updates. This new SNE form allows players to communicate with the regional SNE scout team as often as they wish about updating the data previously submitted or to inform us of new data such as season statistics, season awards, newly tested athletic data etc.. Player Update: Lucas Duarte – OL, Suffield Academy, CT (2027)
Lucas Duarte, a promising 6’2″, 285-pound offensive lineman from Suffield Academy, reached out on 11/25/25 with an exciting update regarding his junior season. Lucas informed us through the Scouting New England Player Update Form Process that his latest highlight film showcases significant advancements in his pass protection technique, highlighting his growth and potential as a recruit. Lucas expressed a keen interest in connecting with college coaches to discuss his recruitment further. Although I have yet to review his 2025 season film, the strides he states he has made this season suggest he’s on the radar for interested programs. His commitment to improvement and the request for feedback indicate that Lucas is serious about taking his game to the next level. College coaches looking for an agile and technically sound offensive lineman should certainly keep an eye on him as he continues to develop.

Player Update: Brayden Cummins (2028, OL, Portsmouth Abbey)
Brayden Cummins continues to make strides in his recruitment journey. As of November 26, 2025, he has had an impressive season, featuring two unofficial visits to Boston College and one to Dartmouth College. Additionally, he has informed us through the Scouting New England Player Update Form Process, that he has received an unofficial visit invite from Fordham and a spring practice invite from Brown University. Brayden’s talent on the field has not gone unnoticed, earning him 1st Team All-Evergreen OL and All-NEPSAC Honorable Mention OL honors from his sophomore season. His dedication to strength training is evident in his updated lifting stats, boasting a 270-pound bench, 405-pound squat, and an impressive 525-pound trap bar deadlift. With his continued hard work and experience, Brayden is certainly a player to watch in the New England region!

Player Update: Deacon Evriviades – Milton Academy, MA
Class: 2027 | Height: 5’9″ | Weight: 165 lbs | Position: DB/ATH
Deacon Evriviades, a dynamic athlete from Milton Academy, has recently made waves in the New England recruiting scene. On November 26, 2025, Deacon shared through the Scouting New England Player Update Form Process that he earned a well-deserved spot on the all-league first team as a wide receiver for his standout performance during the 2025 season. His impressive playmaking ability and versatility on the field continue to showcase his talent, solidifying him as a key contributor to his team. As he transitions into higher competition, Deacon’s skills as both a defensive back and an athlete will be closely monitored. Expect him to be a rising name in New England football as he progresses through his high school career.

Player Update Report: Xavier Hairston, RB, 2028
Xavier Hairston of Taft School, Connecticut, informed us through the Scouting New England Player Update Form Process, that he had an impressive 2025 season, showcasing his skills as a dynamic running back. Over nine games, he scored 11 touchdowns and accumulated 1,200 all-purpose yards. Hairston had 140 carries, totaling 725 rushing yards at an average of 5.1 yards per carry. Additionally, he proved to be a reliable receiver with 17 catches for 325 yards, averaging an impressive 19 yards per reception. He also contributed on special teams with six kickoff returns for 150 yards. His outstanding performance has earned him recognition as a 2025 All Nepsac Founders League 2nd Team RB. Xavier’s combination of speed and agility makes him a player to watch as he continues to develop throughout his high school career. Keep an eye on this rising star!

Player Update: Michael Landers, DB/TE – Tabor Academy (2028)
Michael Landers continues to impress on the field, showcasing his skills as a dynamic defensive back and tight end for Tabor Academy. Michael, Standing at 6’3″ and weighing 205 pounds, informed us through the Scouting New England Player Update Form Process that he had helped lead his team to an undefeated 9-0 record during the 2025 season. His outstanding performance earned him First Team All-Class B Corner Back honors, highlighting his ability to make impactful plays in critical moments. As he progresses through his high school career, expect Landers to be a rising star in New England football, attracting the attention of college scouts looking for talent in the 2028 recruiting class. Keep an eye on this promising athlete as he continues to develop his game!

Player Update: Ryan Lyons – QB, New Milford High School (Class of 2028)
Ryan Lyons has made impressive strides in his sophomore season at New Milford High School. He informed us through the Scouting New England Player Update Form Process that he had, a total of 1,632 passing yards over 10 games. He displayed his scoring ability with 19 passing touchdowns and contributed significantly on the ground, racking up 155 rushing yards and 5 rushing touchdowns. His averages of 163 passing yards per game and a QB rating of 82.9 highlight his growing impact on the field, despite facing challenges with a 51.9% completion rate and 6 interceptions. Excitingly, Ryan earned 2nd Team All-SWC honors this season, underscoring his talents and hard work. As he continues to develop, Ryan is certainly one to watch in the New England recruiting landscape!

Player Update: Alex McCormack (2028, WR, Brunswick School)
Alex McCormack has been making waves on the recruiting scene, showcasing impressive athleticism this past summer at a college camp. The 5’11”, 175-pound wide receiver recorded an outstanding 4.50 in the 40-yard dash and a swift 4.07 in the pro agility test, complemented by a remarkable 9’9†broad jump. These results have undoubtedly caught the attention of college recruiters. Recently, Alex received a verbal offer from Yale, on November 22, 2025, highlighting his potential as a rising star in the New England region. With his exceptional speed and agility, McCormack is certainly a player to watch in the upcoming seasons!
